Mobile PhonesSince the first commercially available mobile phones the technology involved has been consistently refined and reworked producing higher quality and increasingly efficient devices incorporating more features. Mobile Phones have now become common place and the industry is highly lucrative with some European countries actually containing more mobile phones than people. However considering the benefits of the mobile phone it is no surprise, as they allow people to communicate with each other from practically anywhere all over the world. As with everything that becomes popular and widespread to this extent there has been a deal of controversy surround mobile phones, mainly the speculation that the phones themselves and the masts connecting them to the communication network may have adverse health affects due to the microwave radiation they emit. Despite this conjecture mobile phones remain unbelievably
popular commodities with new and updated models being released
constantly. Many mobile phones now include small digital camera, some
of which take a surprisingly good photograph, capabilities to double as
an mp3 player and full internet access. Nevertheless more problems
arise from the increasing predominance that mobile phones have in our
society. One major problem is that people will often use a mobile phone
whilst driving, a large proportion of traffic accidents are caused by
people using mobile phones.
